Tequila and Ensenada go together like… what ever you think goes together well… Ensenada is home of the Margarita, and also the more sinister and more infamous ‘rattlesnake’ tequila. So it seems fitting that we would find a Tequila Tasting spot on our Scouting Missions. This place seemingly has all the the right stuff, only thing is the prices are higher than they should be.
We tried clear anejo tequila, blanco tequila, flavored tequila, pink reposado tequila, and more. One of the more interesting things we tried was Tres Sietes Tequila. With so many choices, we went with what we knew, the Don Fernando Blanco Tequila. While we were here, we also heard about a Tequila Expo in Tijuana, I wonder if we can squeeze that in too!
There are also reports (comments on our blog) at least from one unhappy customer, that what they are selling may not be what is advertised. We liked the vibe here and are also looking for alternative spots to purchase. So far, Costco has the best tequila price in town, fyi.
