Les agradecemos a todos nuestros clientes que nos han seguido en este sueño durante la última temporada, mañana se cierra el capítulo de Criollo en la calle primera. Los mantendremos informados de la segunda etapa. Felices fiestas y de nuevo gracias!!
Jay Porter told us about Ensenada’s Criollo Taperia a while back when we were at his Baja Med inspired restaurant in San Diego called El Take It Easy. He mentioned that it was a place with tapas and a great wine list. We were not disappointed. Criollo Taperia fuses Spanish style ‘tapas’ with the Mexican taco to great success.
The waitress was very friendly and thankfully translated the menu for us, as they did not have menus printed in English. The small iron skillets and blue camping spoons made for a rustic chic vibe and the house white wine kept the heat down from the hot sauce choices. We look forward to returning to this hidden gem of Ensenada soon.
