A local friend tipped us in on this restaurant that we definitely wouldn’t have found on our own. There’s little signage on the street, and you have to pass a gatekeeper before you enter the parking lot. We are very glad we stopped here for dinner on a recent trip. It was a nice end to a long fun weekend at the Rancho Agua Caliente.
We like this place so much, we make this the dinner plans often for after group wine tasting or before going out at night to Euro bar. It has been equally epic on every visit! The food is delicious, the service is friendly, and the ocean view is epic. It’s one of our favorite restaurants in Ensenada.
Currently on Monday nights, Boules hosts a local Petanca game that has become quite the social hour for local restaurant owners, wine makers, and artists alike. The huge outdoor oceanfront courtyard is a great space for events and gatherings.
Boules is truly a hidden gem in Ensenada. It has a unique neighboorhood bar with fine dining kind of vibe. The owner is very attentive, and will definitely find out your name if he finds you hanging out more than once. And when he does, tell him Tom and Sonya from Native Alien sent ya! 😉
